As a vertical take off of the USSR Naval Air Arm, the Yak-38 was far from being as efficient as its NATO counterpart, the Harrier but it served for quite a long time on the so-called cruiser-carriers of the Soviet fleet. Many photos (some in colour) and a well detailed technical part with scale drawings make this booklet very interesting.
