Welcome aboard !
That's it, he's there! The Tirpitz book is available, and it was worth the wait! We present it in our "Coups de Coeur" columns! Among others.
We are also inaugurating a new section with this battleship, on trial. We would like your opinion on this one, " Vessels and Screens ". We present a film related to the navy and its history. Synopsis, qualities, faults, veracity. We begin with a feature film related to the Tirpitz, star of the moment. We indirectly find the Tirpitz in an article presenting the X-Craft submarines, their design and a visit on board.
Other major adventures in our pages, including the little-known one of German blockade runners, ocean liners or freighters seeking to avoid encounters with Allied ships. A first opus with the year 1939, which will make you want to discover the following ones. A major article!
If you get seasick, we come back to earth with the naval artillery in 1870.
When the sea and the land meet, for the worst… a shipwreck, that of the nave Santiago in the 16th century.
A calmer navigation, appreciated in our previous issue, the superb liners of the " savants ", with images as beautiful as they are unpublished.
Unfortunately, a liner does not always mean peace, as evidenced by the Lancastria tragedy, one of the worst shipwrecks in history.
Of course a rich and sometimes surprising topicality, without forgetting our usual headings, sometimes surprising models, a rediscovered wreck. In short, still something new, which we leave you the pleasure of discovering! To not miss anything, subscribe!
