The MS 406 was the most numerous French Air Force fighter during the May-June 1940 campaign. The AVIONS team has published a fine tribute to this aircraft. Although a somewhat outmoded design by 1940, its pilots fought bravely during those dark months. The foreign service use of the MS 406 is also described with a 'first' in the form of the Ms 406 service in the Croatian Air Arm in WWII & colour photos of the type in Finland. The text is richly illustrated and features more than 40 colour profiles, cutaways, scale drawings. Although this work has received some serious plaudits, we have taken the opportunity to reissue it and up-date the contents with a printed A-4 insert. Order now as this edition is limited.
