 The series of books on the fate of German fighter squadrons during the Second World War, in which the volumes 'Reichsverteidigung' and 'Sturmjäger' have already appeared, continues with the present 'Eismeerjäger', the fourth and final volume in a chronicle of aerial warfare in Europe's far north. Day by day, the book describes the missions of Fighter Squadron 5 on the invasion front, in Reich air defense, on the Norwegian west coast and finally in the far north of Norway. (Mombeek)
