Acquiring the first numbers is sometimes a difficult step for young children. Faced with these difficulties in my teaching practice, I wanted to create a fun tool to allow my students to become familiar with these numbers in an attractive way and to guarantee them this acquisition in joy and good humor!
17 mobile cards each representing a number in action from 0 to 16 (because 17, 18 and 19 have never posed a problem for any of my students!) associated on the back with a sentence rhyming with each number. Analog memory and auditory memory are then called upon.
At the same time, a guide sheet offers various very simple and progressive activities to allow long-term memorization without boredom; they can be done in class or at home.
This is an educational tool that can be used by kindergarten and CP students, or by older students who have difficulty memorizing these numbers. But it is also an awakening tool intended for young children from 4 years old that their parents would like to introduce to the designation of numbers in a positive and fun way!
I have been using it for 5 years in my CP class with some success, and it is high time to share this pleasure with others, children and adults alike!
