AIR FRANCE ET LE BOEING 707 INTERCONTINENTAL

Thanks to the vision of its leaders, the support of its shareholder and the commitment of its personnel, the company was to know with the commissioning of the Boeing, concomitant with that of the Caravelle, a new era of strong expansion. More than 60 years after the arrival in the fleet of the first B-707 and nearly 40 years after the withdrawal of the last examples, the witnesses of this time are fewer and the memories fade. The time therefore seemed to us to have come to revive this epic. In line with the Museum's missions in terms of showcasing Air France's historical heritage, the editorial board researched and then gathered for this book a whole series of testimonies and unpublished documents.
