The monograph on the Arado Ar 196, German shipboard reconnaissance float plane, discusses its design, development and construction. The combat use of the aircraft during WW2 is also thoroughly described with many first-hand accounts included. The book also contains a short chapter on the foreign service of these succesful airplanes.
