Here is a book on an unpublished subject: the British and Commonwealth planes interned in Spain during the Second World War. It is a self-published work in Spanish..
During the six years of the Second World War, Spanish territory was the subject of numerous visits by British or Commonwealth aircraft. Many of these visits were the result of navigational error, others the luck of finding land in desperate circumstances, and some were flagrant violations of our airspace which, with the meager resources of the time, was impossible to defend. The harsh fighting in the surrounding area, the fact that it was a staging area and the rudimentary navigation systems of the time led to one hundred and seven aircraft and some of their crews finding their final resting place in Spain.
With rigor and respect, combining the efforts of more than 20 years of research, we have tried to shed light on what happened during these years and to remember those who lost their lives in this terrible war, and this book constitutes the beginning of a series of volumes devoted to each belligerent.
